In DR Congo, RHCC will support 1,000 Community Care Sites (CCS) in fourteen (14) health zones in Kasai Province. Attached to those CCS, a total of 2,000 community health workers (CHWs) will be trained, equipped, and deployed to diagnose, treat, and refer per Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines for malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia at community level. PATH will provide technical assistance in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, in particular the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and National Program for the Elimination of Cholera and the Control of Other Diarrheal Diseases (PNECHOL), and the partners comprising the RHCC Country Committee for DRC.
