Goal
Align with SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by empowering women with digital skills to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Problem
The digital gender divide, as highlighted in SDG 5, is hindering women’s economic participation and leadership. This is exacerbated by a lack of accessible and relevant digital skills training, contributing to unemployment and underemployment rates among young women.
Solution
Address the digital skills gap among young women by providing targeted training in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and technology. This aligns with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by fostering a skilled workforce and promoting innovation.
Target Audience
- Number: [Number] women per cohort
- Age: Adolescents and young adults
- Profile: Unemployed, underemployed, or aspiring women entrepreneurs
- Partnerships: Collaborate with universities, high schools, and relevant organizations to expand reach and impact.
By bridging the digital gender divide, this initiative contributes to achieving multiple Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
