Mission and objectives

PNUD (PROGRAMME DES NATIONS UNIES POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT) Congo, présent en République du Congo depuis le 23 octobre 1976, grâce à son réseau de partenaire dans 177 pays, a pour but d’appuyer les efforts de reconstruction et de développement de la République du Congo et de promouvoir le développement durable à travers le renforcement des capacités institutionnelles, des services conseils, des partenariats solides et stratégiques et l’appui à l’exécution nationale. Le PNUD est le réseau mondial de développement dont dispose le Système des Nations Unies. Il forge des partenariats à tous les niveaux de la société pour aider à construire des nations résilientes, afin de mener à bien une croissance qui améliore la qualité de vie de chacun. Context

The Finance team supports the Country Office of UNDP in the promotion of its sustainable development agenda by continuously enhancing financial performance, delivering sound management of financial resources, and ensuring strong accountability through informed decision making, effective financial management processes, and transparent financial reporting that complies with international standards and regulatory guidelines.

Task description

We are seeking 1 Online Volunteer to support us by translating terms of reference for a job opening for a specialist in finances, from English to French. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: – To translate the document, which is 5 pages long – Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience The selected Online Volunteer will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed. The Online Volunteer will work under the supervision of the human ressources Ofiicer of UNDP Congo.
