Position: Project Coordinator (UNFPA Project)

Location: Goma

Contract Duration: Until July 31, 2026 (renewable based on available funds)

Main Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Cordaid DRC Programs Director, the coordinator is responsible for the UNFPA project results. Key duties include:

Offer Management: Directing the bidding process from development through procurement and ensuring technical and financial proposals are drafted.

Project Management: Translating Cordaid results into operational plans, managing risks, and adjusting progress to meet scope, time, budget, and quality requirements.

Financial & Field Oversight: Managing the project budget, conducting field visits with partners, and analyzing field data to formulate recommendations.

MEL & Learning: Leading the development of project learning, research, publications, and ensuring the integration of best practices.

Personnel Management: Leading and coaching a multidisciplinary team, focusing on professional development and performance.

Requirements and Criteria

Experience: At least 4 years of experience managing professional projects or international branch offices.

Expertise: Academic knowledge in a relevant field such as health, agriculture, or economics.

Knowledge: Familiarity with project management styles, international cooperation with local partners, and the legal framework governing Cordaid operations.

Skills: Strong writing skills for project proposals and reports, as well as social skills to support partners and staff.
