1. About the Role

KivuHub Technology is looking for a dynamic, tech-savvy Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration, performance optimization, and strategic growth of KivuHub.net—the premier regional opportunities platform serving the DRC and the Great Lakes region.

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in WordPress platform management, advanced SEO optimization, structured data schema (Google Jobs integration), and bilingual digital communications.

2. Core Responsibilities & Duties
3. Platform & Web Administration

• Oversee the technical administration, security hardening, and performance optimization of the WordPress infrastructure.
• Ensure high uptime, fast load speeds, and seamless mobile responsiveness across all platform pages.
• Manage user accounts, database backups, and security plugins (e.g., Wordfence, Jetpack, Hostinger tools).

1. Job Board & Structured Data Management

• Curate, review, and publish career listings, tenders, and professional opportunities targeted at the Great Lakes region.
• Implement and validate Google Jobs schema markup (JobPosting structured data) to maximize search indexing and visibility on Google Search.
• Maintain clean database structures and categorization for job seekers and employers.

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Analytics

• Monitor organic search traffic, keyword rankings, and indexing health using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Execute on-page and technical SEO strategies to increase organic discovery of regional job postings.
• Generate regular traffic and engagement performance reports for management.

1. Digital Communications & Outreach

• Oversee bilingual content publishing (French and English) across the platform and associated communication channels.
• Assist with digital marketing campaigns, partner announcements, and community engagement initiatives.

3. Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in WordPress website administration, content management, and job board or directory platform management.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in WordPress, cPanel, and basic web hosting management.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices and JSON-LD schema markup (JobPosting).
  • Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and data tracking tools.
• Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for expanding digital employment ecosystems in Central Africa.
